Silent Hill: Townfall Unveils Chilling New Trailer Ahead of September 4 Launch

Konami has recently released a new trailer of Silent Hill: Townfall, giving horror fans an even deeper look at what will hopefully be the next entry in Konami's world-renowned survival horror franchise. This trailer continues the ominous theme started in the earlier releases by introducing us to the fog-filled island of St. Amelia, Scotland, and its inhabitant, Simon Ordell, who tries to explore a town shrouded in a dark past.

From the trailer, it becomes evident that the game Townfall uses the first-person perspective with a concentration on the psychological horror genre based on Simon who seems to use a CRTV device that helps detect any supernatural danger. The gameplay will most likely be carried out in the deserted streets of a city encountering strange creatures.

Townfall was created by Screen Burn Interactive and released under the collaboration of Konami and Annapurna Interactive. Townfall is a standalone game set in the Silent Hill series. The new game brings a new setting, which is based on St. Monans, Scotland, to the Silent Hill series. The setting has the characteristic foggy environment that the Silent Hill games are known for. The new game is believed to be story-based.
