NBA Street V3 was an absolute joy to play, as it had excellent controls and a well-balanced level of skill and playfulness. The tricks, GameBreakers, and alley oops were more than just eye-candy as they required proper timing and skill. The experience of playing the athleticism of the Lakers against the toughness of the Celtics was extremely fun since it provided a contrasting experience, and it only required the use of the PS2 controls to pull off sweet moves without getting them mixed up.

Just consider a completely new “NBA Street” game with updated graphics, playing it on-line, featuring today’s players but incorporating the same old game play mechanics—it will be an absolute hit. NBA Street V3 has already revealed that basketball games don’t have to be realistic to be cool; all they have to be is fun.
