IT: Welcome to Derry The Complete First Season Hits Home Video on May 5

On May 5. 2026. the entire first season of the HBO prequel series It: Welcome to Derry will be available for home viewing. In other words warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is putting. out the show in a Limited Edition Steelbook 4K Ultra HD as well as on Blu. ray and DVD. That said. fans of the horror drama can have the complete run of all eight episodes in excellent picture and sound quality. In addition to the release of the series there will be extras such as the behind. the scenes and an exclusive new featurette.

The series by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs, serves as a prequel to the films It 2017 and It Chapter Two 019. Set in 1962 in Derry, Maine, it explores the origin of the shape, shifting creature that is Pennywise the Dancing Clown with Bill Skarsgrd continuing his role. The plot revolves around new characters as they confront the town's underground evils that include disappearances, racial tensions, and supernatural threats. Moreover, it deepens the Stephen King universe with such events as the Black Spot fire.
