The‍‌‍‍‌ GameSir G7 Pro is an Xbox licensed controller. It builds on features that earlier models such as the G7 SE had and, most importantly, it is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (wired and wireless via 2.4GHz) and Android devices (via Bluetooth). Among other highly professional features, it includes advanced TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) analog sticks that guarantee precise operation without drift, Hall Effect triggers, optical micro-switch face buttons, up to four back buttons that can be remapped, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It retails at $79.99 and is equipped with D-pad options that can be interchanged, a magnetic faceplate, and a charging dock. It is an excellent mid-range option for gamers seeking high-end features without the high price of the Elite ‍‌‍‍‌Series.

There‍‌‍‍‌ is a major upgrade in the collaboration with the revamped GameSir Nexus app that offers more customization features than before. Gamers can now use the gyro control for motion aiming, alter the stick response curves for slight sensitivities, and even map buttons to mouse functions in hybrid games on a PC. The app supports 1000Hz polling rates, allows accurate rumble calibration, and enables profile switching in the middle of the game, thus turning the G7 Pro into a versatile pro controller. Equipped with such features, the G7 Pro has essentially evolved from a standard gamepad to a versatile pro ‍‌‍‍‌controller.

One‍‌‍‍‌ of my main concerns is the D pad and micro switch trigger stops are features where the G7 Pro is very commendable for a lot of users however I do not share the same views as others. The D pad integrates mechanical micro switches that give a clear, tactile feedback, and has three interchangeable designs including circular and cross options to cater to different game genres from fighting games to platformers. Reviewers usually mention that it's a lightweight, sensitive actuation and nice clicks thus making diagonal inputs very reliable most of the time. On the other hand some users argue that it can appear to be imprecise or grapy in competitive fighting games due to the height of the mechanism.

Priced at $79.99 the Gamesir G& is a good buy it offers solid responsive parts and great options for personalization to the Nexus app. The d padmay not be ideal for ultra precision and the trigger stops being a matter of personal choice. FPS players love them for quick response, it's still better than normal Xbox controllers in terms of build quality and features if those are the things you look for in a game then it's definitely a very good choice for multi platform gaming.
