Grand Blue Season 4 Officially Announced Following Season 3 Finale
Grand Blue Dreaming is officially returning for Season 4 following the conclusion of Season 3. A new visual has been released, but a premiere date and additional story details have not yet been announced.
Grand Blue has been officially greenlit for a fourth season. The news was revealed on September 21 2026 right after the broadcast of the Season 3 finale in Japan. The official anime website also admitted that the fourth season is now in production with a fresh announcement image hinting what is happening to Iori Kitahara and the other cast.
The news comes less than a year after Season 3 took the series to a new level by having Iori and the diving club's journey to Palau. Season 3 began broadcasting in July 2026 and continued the dive, college life and farcial humor that has made the series popular. The series is adapted from the manga of the same name by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka that has over 11 million copies in circulation.
The new Season 4 image published is also seemingly a shadow of yet another plot to develop surrounding Iori. The image features characters Chisa Kotegawa, Aina Yoshiwara and Sakurako Busujima and Iori's inclusion implies the complicated love life surrounding Iori. Although no story details have been announced for the new season, this image hints at the anime series continuing to develop its already intriguing story.
